Meropost is a nepali social network or community launched to bring all nepali under a single trustable platform and with a hope of building a complete successful nepali network or community. You can find old and new nepali friends and share almost everything with them.

Sunil Chaulagain, 21 years old, third year student of kantipur Engineering college launched this site. The site has features of both Facebook and Twitter.

According to the founder;

Key Features of Meropost are:

ü  Simple, powerful and trustful platform

ü  Share almost everything to anyone

ü  Design your profile page in your own way

ü  Make new friends in chatrooms

ü  Make multiple attachments in the post

ü  Like and gallery system and many more…

I’ve been using the site and I found it pretty good. The site has some unique feature that neither facebook nor twitter posses like decorating your wall with your color choice and pictures, writing status directly in nepali language. Another unique feature introduced in the site is verification of your account. One can easily verify their account with any official document, citizenship card, license card etc. This feature strongly prevents people from making fake accounts.

Meropost.com now has 18000+ members within 2 months of launch. The site has other facilities like chat room, photo and video upload.

    Meropost has refrained my experiences of some best rated indian networking site that i used in my past. I appreciate the one to start such a best site and i believe its a great landmark for developing such creative tasks further. Regarding the matter of security i am not sure it has got strong security module, database protection system as well as privacy protection facility. Still there is many more to be improved anyway to make it fit in our social context. Afterall i like it, love it and am using it as well.

  2. If I got u clearly, i’m sure it’s not an indian but it’s a Nepali social networking site… Well it’s a new site.. Letz see.. Well m in support of you regarding the security coz meropost lacks in programming and i guess the owner is not the real programmer.. See i’ve also a got clone @bfrnz.com . Still hamro.info, jaynepal, and others are better.. Still i can’t say meropost is bad..
